Erection Core
Structural Steel Erection
Our primary discipline is setting the skeleton of a building. We work from approved shop and erection drawings, lay out the anchor bolt grids, and place columns, base plates, girders, beams, and cross bracing into their exact positions. Each member is held by a crane, guided by ironworkers on the ground and at height, and connected once the plumb and line surveys read within tolerance.
We build industrial warehouses, distribution centers, mezzanines, process plants, and multi-story frames. Our crew tracks each member number against the steel delivery so nothing sits in the laydown yard waiting while a critical splice is missing. Torque and bolt inspection records accompany every job, giving the owner and the engineer a complete paper trail from day one.
- Column, beam, girder, and joist setting
- Plumb, align, and torque to specification
- Mezzanine and platform steel erection
- Connections for wood, concrete, and composite slabs
Building Systems
Metal Building Assembly
Pre-engineered metal buildings arrive as flat-packed components, and we turn them into standing, weathertight structures. We assemble the rigid frame sections on the ground or at height, bolt them into the mainframe, then set the purlins, girts, eave struts, and end-wall framing that carry the sheeting.
We coordinate with the panel crew so the sequence flows from foundation to frame to roof without backtracking. Because metal buildings rely on precise joint fit, our crew checks every beam flange splice and every roof purlin seat against the framing plan. The result is a square, stable, code-ready building ready for its insulation and cladding.
- Mainframe and secondary framing assembly
- Leg, rafter, and crane girder setting
- Roof purlin and wall girt installation
- Coordination with cladding and partition crews
Shop and Field
Welding and Fabrication Support
Our certified welders handle the full range of structural and miscellaneous welds, from simple tack welds to full-penetration field splices. Every weld is performed under the supervision of a certified welding inspector, and we maintain records of welder qualifications and material approvals so the documentation supports the work.
In our own fabrication bay we produce brackets, guardrails, ladders, stair stringers, embed plates, and repair plates. Having fabrication in-house means a missing angle or a last-minute handrail does not hold up the schedule. We cut, fit, and finish parts to the shop drawing and deliver them ready for installation.
- SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes
- Certified welding inspector oversight
- Custom brackets, guards, ladders, and plates
- Welder qualification and weld inspection records
Foundations
Rebar and Reinforcement Placement
A steel frame is only as good as the concrete it sits on, so we also set the reinforcement that anchors it. We place rebar mats, column ties, and slab meshes to the structural drawings, install embed plates and anchor bolts to tight tolerances, and coordinate placement with the concrete contractor so pours happen on time.
Getting the anchor bolt pattern right is critical for the next column to land correctly. We use templates and survey control, verify the pattern before concrete, and protect the bolts through the pour. The completed foundation then receives the steel with confidence that every connection point lines up.
- Foundation rebar and footing reinforcement
- Embed plates and anchor bolt installation
- Column base and ground stud placement
- Coordination with concrete placement crews
Heavy Lifts
Crane and Rigging Coordination
Lifting steel safely is about preparation as much as horsepower. Our team builds rigging plans, selects the right crane for the reach and capacity, and coordinates hand signals between the operator and the ironworkers. We know each member weight, each sling length, and each swing radius before the hook moves.
We work with mobile cranes of every size, from small service machines to large lattice booms, and we coordinate multi-crane picks when a member is too long for a single hook. Rigging hardware is inspected daily, and every lift follows the plan. Careful pick planning keeps the crew safe and keeps the job on schedule.
- Rigging plans, sling selection, and lift studies
- Mobile crane coordination up to large capacity
- Multi-crane and tandem lift planning
- Daily rigging hardware inspection
Existing Structures
Repair and Retrofit Works
Existing steel does not stop working when it is occupied. We reinforce overloaded beams, replace corroded and damaged members, and upgrade connections to meet current code and seismic requirements. We work around live operations to keep your facility running while the reinforcement happens.
Our team evaluates the existing frame, prepares a patch plan, and installs doubler plates, welded haunches, new columns, and temporary shoring as required. We also repair damage from vehicle impact, fire, and water, restoring the structure to full service. Clear communication and minimal disruption are our priorities on every retrofit.
- Beam and column reinforcement and strengthening
- Connection upgrades for seismic and code compliance
- Corrosion and corrosion damage repair
- Emergency structural repair mobilization
